Lysander Expands Its Land Holdings in North-Central B.C.

Lysander Minerals Corporation (TSXV: LYM)(the "Company") is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Lar and Pinchi claim blocks covering an aggregate 5,675.77 hectares, using the new Mineral Titles Online (MTO) system. These contiguous claims, covering approximately 86 square kilometers, lie adjacent to the great Pinchi Fault some 4.6 kilometers west of Lysander's Jajay project and southwest of its Osilinka project.

The claims were acquired on the basis of mapping by Dr. Harlan Meade as reported in his Doctoral Thesis where his 'mixed zone', equivalent to Amoco's "hybrid zone" and Garnett's "migmatite zone", is adjacent to a major rift system boundary fault. Elsewhere, similar rocks appear to be directly related to large scale copper-gold-silver mineralization.

In addition, the Company has acquired the DKM claims covering a total of 2,834.63 hectares. A total of 2,382.23 hectares, represented by the claims entitled DKM 1 through 6, are contiguous to and lie to the north, east and west of the most northern claim of the Osilinka project. DKM 7, which covers 452.4 hectares, is adjacent to the Company's Jajay project on its eastern boundary.
